The Lohja City Orchestra is celebrating the 700th anniversary of its city with a fantastic
programme for spring 2023. The lake city’s residents and other music fans will be treated to
events such as a display from three Finnish pianist stars Paavali Jumppanen, Olli Mustonen
and Emil Holmström.
There will also be chamber music at various estates in Lohja, as well as a magical collaboration
between troubadour Kielo Kärkkäinen and circus artist Pekka von Cräutlein.
Young children can enjoy the Avain hukassa concert, based on Sanna Mander’s popular
children’s book, with music composed by Marzi Nyman.
The splendid concert season was kicked off with the beloved Viennese New Year’s Concert on
7 January.
